Alstroemeria, also called the Peruvian Lily, is a flower available in many colors. The six to eight flowers on each stem come in colors of white, yellow, red, orange, purple, pink, and bicolor. Alstroemeria is often used in bouquets the stems are 20-25″ tall, and there are 10 stems per bunch. Red alstroemeria should be cut upon arrival about one inch from the bottom. Use a clean vase and clean water and add the flower food packet. Strip the foliage so there are no leaves in the water. Repeat care and handling every other day or when the water looks cloudy. With proper care they can last for 2+ weeks in a vase.
