Rose, CA-Sweet Avalanche-light pink

Sweet Avalanche roses are soft pale pink . Like all of the Avalanche varieties this rose has a heavy petal count and open beautifully. Because we offer locally grown its vase life is long up to 14 days or more when proper care and handling has been applied.  There are 25 stems in a bundle each about 55- 60 cm tall. These long stem roses make  an excellent hostess or office gift any time of the year and look great in any type of bouquet.

Hydrangea, mini-tight-green 10 stems

Green Hydrangea come 10 stems per bunch. A great deal  a good size flowerhead  of 3-4 inches. Long lasting  and excellent to use for arrangements in quantities. For order of 10 bunches or more please order at least  10 days in advance. Stems are sturdy and 18-25  inches tall. Available year round.

Hypericum-pink

Pink Hypericum stems are woody and long lasting.  St John’s wort is the common name it is a perennial and loaded with berries in natural colors. The branches are typically clustered the leaves are narrow and yellow-green in color. The dots are conspicuous when held up to the light. The stems are around 25-30 inches tall. Bunches are 10 stems. ( The Berries are not recommended for human  consumption) Hypericum is native to the Mediterranean region of Europe, northern Africa, and the Middle East. There are  many different colors. The fresh colors are popular during the wedding season and are beautiful in pastel floral arrangements. Almost every color berry is available year round. Most of the  Pink Hypericum grown for the flower industry are from Ecuador, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania. Available year round .

Lisianthus, doubles-Ruffle-white

Locally grown White Lisianthus is available year round.  We mostly offer double blooming varieties and there are many new exciting colors.  Cut the flowers upon arrival and hold flowers at room temperature for 1 – 2 hours (2 – 4 hours if flowers are limp or exhibiting bent neck) if you want them to open prior to storage in cooler or designing. Clean buckets, vases always use a packet of a Chrysal (provided) a small package works for 4 quarts of water.  White  Lisianthus is shipped with the blooms well developed and showing good color but not fully open. Grading varies but an average of 7 stems seems the be used by most growers. The newer imported varieties from Holland are bunches 5 stems. Lisianthus is generally 20 – 3o inch in stem length and great to use in bouquets and vase arrangments.

Ranunculus, Tecate-light pink

Ranunculus also known as buttercup come in all colors. They are an excellent cut-flower and are long lasting in vase arrangements and bouquets the flowers are considered delicate.  Ranunculus are cool climate crop.  Available almost year round because grown around the world. Elegance series are the best known and available in a wide range of colors including  pastel colors which are in large demand.  In California the growing & harvest season is  from December until May - June.  Light Pink Ranunculus have a stem length of about 20 or inches or more. The flowers when fully open are 2-3 inches in diameter. The bunch grade is 10 stems and they have no fragrance. PLEASE NOTE WE EXPECT TO HAVE IMPORTED RANUNCULUS FOR ORDERS  SHIPPING THE LAST WEEK OF JUNE OR LATER.
