Purple Bouquet Flower Package

Purple lisianthus can vary in shades depending on the time of year, as well as the grower. Because of their sweet soft look, lisianthus is extremely versatile in just about any floral design. Lisianthus symbolizes charisma, gratitude, and appreciation, making it a fantastic gift. There are multiple blooms per stem, usually at different stages (some buds, some more open). They are sold in 5-7 stem grower's bunches and are generally around 18-24" tall.

CARE: Cut stems 1-2" upon arrival, at a 45° angle and put in water. They will arrive thirsty, so if the stems are limp, leave the plastic sleeves on for a few hours while they hydrate. This allows for the stems to hydrate in an upright position. They are extremely sensitive to bacteria, so always be sure to use a clean bucket and clean water. Check the water levels often. Because of the light, delicate petals, lisianthus can be sensitive. Keep them in a cool area, away from direct sunlight and away from fruits and vegetables.

Stock is a fragrant flower available year-round and is locally grown. Purple Stock is great to  use in wedding bouquets and everyday vase arrangements and a bunch of stock makes a nice gift. It has a sturdy stem and does well in cooler temperatures. The best quality stock in the world is grown locally along the California coast where the temperatures are cool year-round. We procure all our stock from Certified American Flower growers. The stems are 18-24" tall and there are 10 stems per bunch. Upon arrival, cut stems on an angle, and use clean containers. Keep flowers in a well ventilated room with no direct heat or sunlight. Have them arrive on a Thursday for a Saturday event.

These purple hydrangeas are graded 5 stems per bunch. Please note that shade of purple will vary throughout the season. CARE: Always use a clean vase or bucket when they arrive cut the stems at the base at least one inch on an angle. Use the flower food in clean water. Refresh the water every other day and wash the vase. Keep hydrangeas in a cool, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Keep them away from any sources of ethylene gas (fruits and vegetables), as this makes fresh flowers mature faster. If blooms appear wilted, flower plumes can be dunked in water for a few hours, as hydrangeas can take up water from their petals.

Standard carnations are now available year-round. These purple carnations have no fragrance and are natural in color. They have an excellent vase life. Please order at least 10 days in advance if possible. There are 25 stems in a bunch and stems are tall.

Sinuata statice, also known as annual statice, is known for its papery flowers that can be used in fresh and dried arrangements. California’s micro climate is ideal to grow statice. They have a great vase life. Graded 7-10 stems in a bunch the stem length is about 20" long. Purple statice is available year-round. After using statice in a fresh flower arrangement, try drying the stems by hanging them upside down in a well-ventilated, dry, low humidity area.

California grown fresh lavender is available year-round. The farm we use has different varieties during the year there are many different varieties. Therefore the bunches may vary depending on the growing location and the time of the year. Lavender grown in the summer and early fall will have the most color. Growers bunches are at least 10 stems and can vary in length from 15-25" tall.  The actual color can vary from the picture because in winter and early spring season the stems are shorter and the bunches have more grayish color.

Misty limonium has a light grey blue color. The stems are tall and the grower bunches are generous - 10 stems or more. The stem length is 20-25" and has many usable side shoots. Often used as a filler in vases or bouquets. Available year-round and are imported when local production has ended. Misty limonium can be dried and used in many different ways.
